Warranty Policy

Comprehensive protection for your KG3 Computer Trading purchases

1. General Warranty Coverage

  • KG3 Computer Trading ("KG3", "we", "us", or "our") warrants that all products sold through our official online store are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the applicable warranty period stated herein.
  • This Warranty Policy applies to brand new items only and does not cover second-hand, refurbished, or clearance items, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

2. Warranty Period

  • Branded Products (e.g., MSI, ASUS, HP, Acer): Warranty coverage shall follow the manufacturer's warranty terms (typically 12 to 36 months), which may be claimed directly at authorized service centers or through KG3 as a facilitator.
  • Computer Components and Peripherals (e.g., motherboard, RAM, GPU, CPU, PSU, keyboard, mouse): One (1) year warranty from the date of purchase, unless a longer manufacturer's warranty applies.
  • Printers, Monitors, CCTV, and Other Electronics: One (1) year warranty or as stated in the product listing.
  • Software or Digital Licenses: No warranty applies to software, applications, or license keys once delivered or activated.
  • Freebies, Apparel, Cables, Accessories: No warranty
  • Proof of purchase (sales invoice or order confirmation) is required to validate warranty claims.

3. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:

  1. Contact our Customer Support Team via email at support@kg3it.shop and provide:
    • Order number
    • Product model and serial number
    • Description of the defect or issue
  2. Our team will assess the claim and may require:
    • Diagnostic tests or troubleshooting
    • Photo or video documentation of the defect
  3. If approved, the item must be returned to KG3 Computer Trading or its designated service center for evaluation and repair/replacement.

Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item to KG3, while KG3 will cover the return shipping of repaired or replaced items.

4. Warranty Remedies

Upon verification of a valid warranty claim, KG3 may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective product at no cost,
  • Replace the product with a new or equivalent item, or
  • Issue store credit or refund if repair or replacement is not possible.

Replacement or repaired items shall continue the warranty for the remaining original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.

5. Warranty Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, liquid spills, power surge, lightning, fire, or other external causes
  • Damage from unauthorized repair, modification, tampering, or disassembly
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, normal wear and tear)
  • Consumables or accessories (batteries, cables, chargers, ink cartridges, etc.) unless proven defective on arrival
  • Software issues, viruses, corrupted files, or user-installed applications
  • Products with altered, removed, or unreadable serial numbers
  • Products damaged during shipping due to insufficient or improper packaging by the customer

6. Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Items

  • Customers must report defective items within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery to qualify for a DOA replacement.
  • DOA products must be returned in complete packaging with all accessories, manuals, and free bundled items.
  • After inspection, KG3 will issue a replacement or refund if the item is confirmed DOA.

7. Manufacturer's Warranty

For branded items covered by the manufacturer's warranty, customers may opt to:

  • Directly coordinate with the brand's authorized service center; or
  • Request assistance from KG3 in facilitating warranty claims.

Processing time may vary depending on the brand's service center policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

KG3 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption.

Our total liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the product.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be exclusively brought before the courts of Quezon City, Philippines.

10. Policy Updates

KG3 Computer Trading reserves the right to revise, modify, or update this Warranty Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions will be posted on our official website.
